Hi Lovelies!
Being a professional dancer and cheering for the Dallas Cowboys, I get asked so many questions about my make up... what products do you use, do you get it professionally done for game days, how do you get it to last all game, etc.. I am here to share all of the products that I use for my game day make up routine, and yes.. I do my own make up! To be quite honest, I know VERY little about make up, probably the bare minimum - I don't know how to "bake" and it takes me about 10 minutes to put on a pair of false eyelashes even though I have been wearing them since I was 6! I am no expert- but I can say that practice does make better and I love continuing to learn new make up secrets! With all that practice I have found my absolute favorite items when needing to stay glam through a long football game!
#1. My foundation is from Clinque! Do not underestimate it—it is the best! It is very natural, not heavy on the face when applying, and covers any and all blemishes that come up last minute. Unfortunately, the Even Better is being discontinued. I am fully stocked up in my shade (Stone) for the time being but will have to find a new foundation that is just as wonderful!
#2. This compact powder from LancĂ´me is everything you need to get rid of that extra shine or oil! During halftime, a little fluff and puff of this powder (Buff) is all I need to get right back into the game!
#3. I know this is not a tutorial, but I do my eyebrows in reverse order than probably 85% of everyone else LOL! The first step in my brows routine is making sure they are in place and with this-those babies aren't moving! There won't be a brow out of place!!
#4. My eyeshadow palette was a holiday special on Valentine's Day a few years ago (12 Shades Of Love) but these colors have never disappointed me! With my love of pink, this palette is perfect! It's the right mix of pink and neutrals + extra bonus points for the purples making the green eyes POP! With it being a holiday special I stocked up!! When you find something you love and looks great on you- GRAB IT! My substituted favorite is Urban Decay's Naked 3!
#5. These lashes are a must!! Put them in your ULTA cart now! <3 If you are wanting the perfect natural glam look, Wispies all the way! I've tried every glue out there for falsies and my favorite right now is the duo adhesive in dark! I don't know about you but it takes me multiple tries to get my lashes on and with that glue you can't see the mess-ups and it's not sticky sticky to where you'll have clumps in your real eyelashes later in the day!
#6. This is my bronzer I'm using as of RIGHT NOW (Chocolate) and have been since my first year of DCC! Now that the newest thing is liquid bronzer- I do want to transition over and give it a try! But I'm going to wait for off season... why change something that you know works so well!?!
#7. By the time I finish my eyes, the eyebrows should be SET and ready to fill in! I don't do too much but fill them in the natural blonde shade. Having full eyebrows that are slightly darker than my natural hair is better for all the photography and videography that goes on during football games!
#8. I have learned this over time of doing game day make-up but it is so important to make sure your eyeliner, lash line, and falsies are all blended together nicely! That's how you get that natural-glam look... by camouflaging the falsie lash line. ;)
#9. Another thing about making sure your glamorous falsies look natural, is making sure they blend in with your natural eye lashes! The 'Better Than Sex' mascara has been my GO-TO since I started wearing mascara in high school- it's a MUST to complete the game day look!
#10. I LOVE blush! I'm definitely guilty of sometimes over blushing but I think there is something so chic about rosy cheeks! I wear Bobbi Brown's shade 'Pretty Pink'! I am one that goes for the pinkier tone, but there are multiple shades to choose from!
#11. I get SO many questions about my lipstick/game day lip combo! My lip products are from Clinique and I have to give a shoutout to a DCC Alumni, Pam Seal, for helping me find this perfect combo! First I apply my liner (Jam) and then top it off with the Cubby Stick (Woppin' Watermelon). Again.. it's more on the pinkier side but comes in multiple shades that would look great on anyone!
#12. My FINAL MUST HAVE for game days is the too faced setting spray!! Dancing all day - from pre-game rehearsal to a four hour game, this is the REAL DEAL.
XOXO,
Victoria <3

ReplyDeleteWhat lip gloss is pictured on 11? It does not look like a Clinique chubby stick like you say in your blog post. I am interested in what is pictured! Thanks.
